ELEVENTH RAID
TOKIO BOMBED AGAIN STRATEGIC TARGETS IN URBAN AREAS WASHINGTON, March 3.' A very large task force of, SuperFortresses from the Marianas struck Tokio for the eleventh time in daylight, says an army announcement. The attack was directed against strategic tragets in urban areas. Tokio radio said the attack commenced at 7.30 a.m. in the Kanto area, comprising Tokio and Yokohama metropolitan sector, and also to Tokai area southward of Kanto, including the industrial cities of Nagoya and Shizuoka. Approximately 150 Super-Fortresses participated. According to the radio, they bombed blind from above clouds. Fires were started in several parts of the capital, but they were controlled.
