TRIBUTE TO CREEK BRIGADE
(Rec. 11 a.m.) RUGfBY, March 4. In a message to the commander of the Greek Third Mountain Brigade, Field-Marshal Alexander says: "Soldiers, you may be proud of the gallant part you have played in our victorious Italian campaign of 1944 when, with your allies, you broke the Gothic Line and advanced towards the Po Vallev. Although your distinguished brigade is about to pass from living entity into the pages of history, its name will live for ever by its glorious deeds on the field of battle." .
