The John McGlashan Association committee held a social evening on Tuesday in the College Dining Hall, when it entertained the members of the_ teaching staff. The party, about 40 in number, played trump whist, and spent an enjoyable evening. Supper was served by the prefects and ladies of the committee. Mr J. D. Fletcher, the president, expressed the pleasure the committee had in meeting the staff, and hoped that this would be only the first of many such occasions. _ The headmaster, Mr T. S.
