CORPORAL COMMISSIONED
BRIGADIER IN YUGOSLAV ARMY' (Special.) WELLINGTON, July 12. Corporal Denvir, of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, who distinguished himself in association with the Yugoslav guerrillas, and was appointed a brigadier in that army, has received a commission in the New Zealand service. He recently returned to the Dominion with a draft of wounded and sick men, and k at present on leave in Christchurch. The Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, in announcing Corporal Denvir's promotion to second lieutenant, stated that this would be gazetted during the week, and would date as from April 14 last.
