CHAPLAIN'S DEATH

GERMANS ACCUSED OF MURDER CHARGES TO BE INVESTIGATED (Rec. 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, July 11. Charges that the Germans murdered the Rev. George Parry in Normandy will be investigated, the War Minister, Sir James Grigg, told the House of Commons to-day. Mr Parry, a 29-year-old chaplain, landed in Normandy with the Sixth Aii'borne Division. A Press Association war correspondent reported that Mr Parry was killed by a knife or a-bayo-net while defending helpless wounded during a raid on a medical aid post. The Germans are reported to have set upon the wounded in a frenzied state, shooting and bayoneting them. Mr Parry threw himself between the Nazis and the wounded meß.
