Cameron (Riversdale), G. A. Hamilton (Lumsden), and H. P. Mclntyre (Gore) have been elected Southland delegates, and Mr H. B. S. Johnstone (Otaio) delegate for South Canterbury. Inspector G. (B. Edwards, of Hamilton, has been promoted.to the rank of superintendent. Ho will'remain in Hamilton in the meantime. Superintendent Edwards joined the Police Force in Dunedin in 1905. He was promoted to sergeant in 1917, and went to Hamilton in 1919. Five years later he was promoted to senior sergeant,' and wag transferred to, Auckland. Superintendent Edwards was in charge or the Wellington training depot for three years. Ho served as a sub-inspector in Christchurch and Auckland, and returned to Hamilton four years ago as an inspector. Mr and Mrs G. E. Wright have been advised by the Air Department that their son, W.O. J. A..S. W r right, who has been reported missing oh air operations, was granted a commission, with the rank of pilot officer, as from May 18. ' The Board of Governors' Entrance Scholarship at Lincoln College for 1944 has been awarded to Fergus- M. Reid, a former pupil of John McGlashan College. He is the elder son of Mr and Mrs D.
