OFFENCES AGAINST GIRL
ELDERLY MAN COLLAPSES WHEN SENTENCED
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 11. An elderly man collapsed when sentenced in the Supreme Court to-day, and had to be assisted away. He was Reuben Branwell Parker (60)., who was given four years' reformative detention for three offences which he had admitted of indecently assaulting a girl aged 11 years. Mr Justice Callan described it as a sad case. The medical evidence had shown that Parker's sense of responsibiliy was impaired.
