Enterprise Lodge held its fortnightly meeting with a large attendance of members. After business was concluded the A.D., Bro. Hopkins, welcomed Grand Lodge, with representatives of the various lodges, on the occasion of the installation of the district presidents for No. 1 and 2 districts. P.P. Bio. Butterworth, assisted by D.P. Bro. McLean, installed Bro. H. Brockie, jun., of Fvanhoe Lodge, and Bro. W. H. C. Workman, of Enterprise Lodge, in their respective offices in an impressive manner. I.P.G.P. Bro J. M. MeElwee then invested the retiring D.P.'s with their P.D.P. collars and diplomas. The toasts were then honoured. The proceedings were interspersed by items by Bro. H. F. Pellett (piano-accordion), Bro. J. Paterson (humorous songs), Bro. A. McMillan (bagpipe solo), Bro. J. H. Clinch (song), Bro. A. R. Rankin (recitation), Mr Paul Reno (ventriloquist items), Mr Trebilcock (conjuring), Messrs Jack Morris and A. J. Bell (trumpet and saxophone duets). Supper was provided.
