NAZI TRICKS
ATTEMPTS TO EXPOSE UNDERGROUND MOVEMENTS WASHINGTON, May 7. The Nazis are attempting to trick the Allied underground movements in Europe into exposing themselves prematurely before the invasion starts, according to reports from the Office of War Information. The German duplicity includes tho issuing of false orders signed by General de Gaulle, distributing bogus newspapers, dropping leaflets from planes with B.A.F. markings, and beaming broadcasts from " freedom stations" giving false invasion dates. Furthermore, Gestapo agents ride incognito on trains and trams,_ attempting to lure patriots into political discussions. Other agents masquerade as Allied flyers trying to escape from Germany.
