VISIT TO WASHINGTON
U.S. AMBASSADOR TO MOSGOW RUGBY, May 6. Mr W. A. Harriman, the United States Ambassador to Russia, has arrived in Washington for an exchange of views with the State Department. No special significance attaches to his visit. He is expected to return to Moscow shortly. The Washington correspondent of the ' New York Times ' says he will consult President Roosevelt and Mr Cordell Hull concerning the diplomatic problems arising from the invasion.
