U.S. PLANE PRODUCTION
GREATER THAN REST OF WORLD WASHINGTON, January 10. _ " United States plane production is greater than all the rest of the world. Axis and Allied combined," said Mr T. P. Wright, director of the Aircraft Resources Control Office. "Wo are not entirely certain of some of the Allies' production nor the enemv's. but it can Ke fairly stated that the combined Allied output is four times that of the Axis. United States production alone is twice the Axis production." Mr Wrsght estimated that American production in 1944 would exceed 10,000 planes a month.
