OBITUARY
MR G. B. PLUMMER (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 8. A notable figure in Auckland musical circles, Air Cnarles Bernard Plummer, president of the Auckland Choral Society and chairman of the Operatic Society, died this morning, aged 74, He had been an active figure iu Auckland's musical life for more than half a century, and was working- on a musical history of the Dominion, for which enterprise he was uniquely qualified. In business Mr Plummer was a .director of the P.lummer Hat Company. Ho was a keen, bowler and Masonic lodgu member.
