OVERTHROW OF HITLER
DEMANDED IN GERMAN LEAFLET
(Rec. 10.10 a.m.) LOXDO'N, Oct. 24. Leaflets have been circulated in Germany calling for the overthrow of Hitler. This was admitted by Hans Fritsche, political director of German, broadcasts, when he warned listeners against " mysterious plans for the overthrow of the Hitler regime and tha setting un of a military dictatorship on the Badoglio model." The leailets purport to be signed by Governor-General Franck, Reich Commissioner Terboven. Gauleiter Erio Koche, and navy" leaders. Fritsche said: "Other leaflets have been signed by the ', Association of the Bombed-out'—the voice of complaints of air raid victims. These contain complaints about the privations they suffer and their billets.".
