EIGHTH IN SUCCESSION
ANOTHER ALERT IN LONDON (Rec. 10 a.m.) RUGBY, Oct. 24. For the'eighth night • in succession London had an alert on Saturday, but the guns did not go into action, and no bombs are reported in the London area. Enemv activity was over parts oi East Anglia and South-east England, where bombs were dropped at several places, causing blight damage. There were no casualties.
