The Overseas League (Dunedin branch) promises a feast of music lo ; those who attend the Returned Services Social Hall on Monday next, the 19th inst... when the Leech Lyric Choir will render the concert version of Edward German's ' Merrie England.' This work tells of the beauty, and charm of the English countryside. It. takes us to the village greens of 'Old England ' and introduces us to many historic figures of the " Elizabethan age."
