RAIDERS OVER ENGLAND
EAST COAST TOWN EOMBED , (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, July 13. There were a number of enemy raiders over the east_ coast of England last night. Incendiaries and high explosives were dropped at one place. These were the first bombs dropped over Britain after dark since Hull was attacked on June 23. Some damage was caused to property in to-night's raid, and rescuers are still searching the debris for a number of the missing people. The bombing was intensive. A number of people were killed and scores of workers' houses were wrecked. Wardens, police, and firemen rescued many from the ruins. Many of the injured w,ere treated in hospital.
