FOR IMPORTANT CONFERENCES
MR H. L. STIMSON IN BRITAIN ItUGBY, July 11. The United States Secretary of War, Mr H. L. Stimson, has, arrived in Britain for important conferences. He landed at a British airfield and was met by the officer commanding the American forces in Europe, Lieutenantgeneral pevers, President Roosevelt's lend-lease representative, Mr Averell Harriman, and a party of American officers.
