DAILY INTERCESSION.
O God, we commend to Thy fatherly protection our sailors, soldiers, and airmen, and all who in any way are serving their country in this war. Keep them body and soul from all that harms. May they deliver us from the scourge that threatens the world, and by their victory open the gales of new life for the peoples of the earth. In the heal a id turmoil of battle may they be conscious of Thy presence Who hast redeemed them through Him Who has Himself suffered. Amen.
