A LANCASHIRE ACCIDENT ELEVEN DEATHS (British Official Wireless.? Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright (Rec, 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 30. At least 11 persons were killed and about 100 injured when a workers’ l special and a passenger train collided at Eccles, Lancashire. Many pinned by the wreckage could be released only after workmen had stripped the coaches* Doctors, nurses, and the Eccles A.R.P., casualty service tended the injured.
