Daily Intercession
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be , carried into the midst of the sea. The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.—(Psalm 46.)
God of the nations. Who of Thy great mercy has vouchsafed Thy presence to us in days past, we commend our nation unto Thee and pray for Thy blessing. Bless our King and Queen and the the members of the Royal Family, that we, being constrained by their example may place our confidence in Thee. Give wisdom to all who direct our nation’s affairs that they being enlightened of Thee may lead us through the darkness into the light and joy of peace. Casting all care upon Thee, may they and we find Thee our strength at all times; through Jesus Christ our Lord. — Amen.
