Mornington. Members were very appreciative of tlio instructive talk given by Mrs Pottiuger on the physiology of the child, which was followed by some helpful tuition in first aid. Signal Hill. Knitting was the main activity at Mrs Johnston’s home in Grandview Crescent. The president, Mrs Mason, thanked members for gifts of magazines for nurses overseas. St. Kilda. Mrs Spiro’s home was a scene of great industry, as members followed out instructions of Mrs Laurie, and Mrs Mills, who came from Taimii, and demonstrated l the making of scagrnss stools and trays, as well as woollen floor mops. Mrs McConnell praised the demonstrators for their capable work, and Mrs Currie thanked Mrs Spiro for the use of her ho'me. Nine members have baked for Red Cross during September.
