Daily Intercession
FOR THOSE WHO MOURN.: We worship Thee, O - God, Who hast revealed Thyself to us in Jesus Christ, so that, believing in Him Who wept by the grave of Lazarus, we are sure of Thy pity. Have mercy on sorrowing ones in these days' of sacrifice and suffering , O Thou Who out of the darkness of Calvary didst 1 bring to men redemption, grant that there may come for mankind out of these present calamities peace that shall never be broken. Sustain us • , meantime in our loss and loneliness. May Thy rod and staff comfort in the valley of the shadow of death. . Give us something of the spirit of '■ our heroic dead, and the good hope of those who believe in Jesus Christ, Who rose from the dead and - brought life and immortality to light and Whose purposes for His people reach out into eternity. We ask for His sake. — Amen.
