The "Wakari Soldiers’ Entertainment Committee held a function n the Wakari School Hall to entertain two naval men —C. Mason and J. Gilchrist—who were on leave. There was a large attendance. Mr J. Elliot, making presentations, extended best wishes. Items were given by Miss R. Bain, Mr .). Devereanx, and Mrs Dawson (songs). Mr F. Joyce was pianist, and the duties of M.C. were ably carried out by Mr G. Mawhinney,
