N.Z.E.F. AND AIR FORCE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. The following casualty list of members of the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force was issued oto-night:— —Otago.— A unit court ot Inquiry presumes that the following soldier is dead—previously reported missing:— Wilson, Captain Clifford; wife, Mrs L. O. D. Wilson, Dunedin. The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldier is a prisoner of war—previously reported wounded and missing;— Dickson, Lance-corporal Ronald Hubert; father, Mr J. E. Dickson, Oamaru. The following soldier is now reported to be a prisoner of war—previously reported killed in action:— Mulhern, Sergeant Michael Edwin; wife, Mrs P. Mulhern, Oamaru. —Other Districts. — The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldier is a prisoner of war—previously repotted presumed dead:— Paul, Private George Allen; father, Mr W. Paul, Mangere.
The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldiers are prisoners of war and wounded—previously reported missing:— Clarke, Private Donald William; father, Mr G. J. Clarke, Masterton. Hewson, Private Heber Percy; mother. Mrs M. Hewson, Orari. The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldiers are prisoners of war—previously reported missing and believed prisoners of war:— Lewis, Lance-corporal Gordon; mother, Mrs M. E. Lewis, Avondale. Winstanley, Sergeant Leo James; wife, Mrs M. Winstanley, Wellington. The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldiers are prisoners of war—previously reported wounded and missing; Murphy, Private Michael Patrick; wife, Mrs E. G. Murphy, Gore. Tidswell, Private Murray Edward; mother, Mrs D. Tidswell, Upper Hutt. The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldiers are prisoners of war—previously reported missing;— Aldridge, Private John Henry; mother, Mrs R. O. Cree, Christchurch. Cowan, Private Claude William; father, Mr R. Cowan, Auckland. The following soldier is now reported to be a prisoner of war—previously reported believed to be a prisoner of war: Sanders, Driver Harold Martin; brother-in-law, Mr P. Presland, Dargaville. The following soldier is now reported to be a prisoner of war—previously reported wounded and missing:— M’Kenzie, Corporal Alexander; wife, Mrs M. M'Kenzie, Lower Hutt. AIR FORCE LIST The following air casualties were announced to-night:— Fyvie, Sergeant Joseph, R.N.Z.A.F., killed in a flying accident; wife, Mrs C. M. Fyvie, Aucklnad. Grady, Sergeant John Arthur, E.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed in action; father, Mr A. Grady, Rongotea.
