DUNEDIN SWIMMING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING At the annual meeting of the Dunedin Swimming -Club last night, Mr D. C. Banuatyne was in the chair. In moving the adoption of the annual report the Chairman congratulated the club on the increased membership. He also congratulated the winners of the club competitions, and the representatives_ of the club in the New Zealand championships. Mr Bannatyne referred to the harbour rt’C-GS won by J. O. Byrnes* stating that li s had been every good performances. The parents’ night and carnival had been very successful, and he hoped that another would be arranged this year. The balance sheet showed that the year commenced with a credit balance of £73 17s, and ended with a balance of £97 13s. Due to the efforts of club members, in conjunction with the St. Kilda Beach Improvements Society at their annual carnival, the club’s funds were augmented by the sum of £24. Officers for the ensuing year were appointed as follows: —Patron, Mr E. H. James; president, Mr D. C. Bannatyne; vice-presidents, Messrs W. A. Jenkins, W. F Eliictt, W. F. James, W. L. Hooper, E. H.
