MAGISTRATE’S COURT
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30. (Before Mr H. W. (Bundle, S.M.) Judgment by default, with costs, was given for the plaintiffs in the following eases :—Howarth’s Radio Service v. William Ayers (Pukehiki), £1 16s, for goods supplied: M'Cracken Bros. v. R. Tl. Watts (Alexandra), £4 11s, for goods supplied; Roma Kathleen Baker and Sybil Hannah Baker v. Dorothy Quartly, £1 los, balance duo for goods supplied. TENANCY CASE. Edward Stiles (Mr C. J. Rawlinson) proceeded against Walter Galland, claiming possession of premises in Clyde street, also rent duo amounting to £ll. Mr A. J. Haul), representing tho Labour Department, appeared for tho defendant. After evidence had been taken the magistrate declined to make an order for possession. but an order was .made fur the payment of £8 back rent.
