TANK CORPS

SPECIALISTS FROM OTAGO Ep to 300 single men, grade I. classification, have to be found in the Otago military area to be attached to tho new tank corps at Waionru camp. The men required need to be specialists, mechanics being in particular demand, although litters, turners, weldors, motor drivers, and motor cyclists will also be drafted withrli a fortnight. These men will all receive highlyspecialised training before departing for overseas. Although the men will, as is the ease with every section of the military forces, he drafted, the work of the local authorities would he greatly facilitated if men with tho qualifications required would come forward ami express their willingess to join this corps. A light aid detachment and an ordnance field pari; will also be attached to tho corps. Where men are drafted to this corps, late appeals on the part of employers for their withdrawal will be opposed as strongly as possible.
