BAR TO FLYING CROSS
HONOUR FOR NEW ZEALANDER (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 29. Wing Commander Patrick Geraini: Jameson, D.F.C., 11-.A.F,, lias been awarded the bar to the Distinguished Flying Cross, according to official advice received by Air Headquarters, Wellington. Wing Commander Jameson, who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in July, 19-10, for distinguished work in the Narvik- area, was born in Wellington in 1912. Before bis acceptance in 1935 for a short service commission in the Boyal Air Force, he secured Ids A license as a member of the Wellington Aero Chib. He was educated at Hutt Valley High School, and is a keen sportsman. His father is Mr 11. D. Jameson, of 20 White’s Line, Lower Hutt.
