MUNICIPAL GOLF LINKS

REVISED SCALE OF FEES As directed by council, the Reserves Committee of the City Council reports having reconsidered the committee’s recommendations relative to tne proposed charges at the Municipal Colt Links at Chisholm Park and the Ocean Beach Domain; A deputation from the Chisholm Park Golf Club had also been received by the committee and its representations relative to changes and other matters had Ibecn considered, the committee now that the fees for the use of the golf links be fixed as follows :■ — Men, £4 per annum; ladies, £3 per annum; married couples, ~6 per annum; one round (18 holes), _s; weekly tickets, 10s; monthly tickets, £l. Considering, however, the unfinished state of portions, of the fairway, owing to recent dry weather, and the present lack of conveniences and clubhouse accommodation, the committee further recommends that the annual fees he redneed to the following amounts for the present financial year. Men, £3 per annum; ladies, £2 per annum; married couples, £4 per annum. ' These fees represent in each case an increase of 10s on the fees previously operating on the Chisholm Park nine-

hole course in lieu of an increase oj £1 as previously recommended. The question of naming the- course* which was also referred back to the committee for. further consideration, has not yet been and a recommendation in this direction will be submitted at a later date.
