ROYAL MALE CHOIR

FINAL CONCERT OF SEASON • The final concert of its fifty-fifth season will be presented by the Royal Dunedin Male Choir in the Town Hall on April 28, and it should he one of tbe brightest programmes yet given by the society. The part songs, ‘ Song of the-Bow,’ ‘Song of the Pedlar,’ ‘Song of the Vikings,’ and ‘Pilgrims’ Chorus,’ from ‘ Tauuhatiser,’ are all of a robust nature, and should be received with pleasure. ‘ O Peaceful Night,’ a hymn study, ‘ Deep- Har'mony,’ ‘Steal Away,’ a lovely negro spiritual, and ‘ On the Sparkling Snow’ will provide a delightful contrast. Miss Joyce Ashton, a young contralto, with a voice of'beautiful quality, will make her first appearance with the choir, and Miss Dora Drake, soprano, will also sing. Master David Christensen, New Zealand’s champion cornetist, will give solos, and the Dunedin Harmony Four have chosen a very bright number, ‘ The Mulligan Musketeers.’ The choir soloists are Messrs W. B. Lambert and D. F. Inglis. Booking will start on Thursday next-at Begg’s.
