CHAMPIONSHIPS CONCLUDED**Owing to intermittent rain, the Olagc Lawn Tennis Association’s annual tom-mu was not completed yesterday. Champion- ( ship events, however, were concluded, leaving handicap events to he decided during the week. K. Bryan' and Miss M. Kerr won the mixed doubles championship after a stern tussle against Paterson and Mrs Mucandrew, formerly Miss N. Bishop, of .Canterbury. The match, which went to three sets, was one of the most interesting of the tournament, and was notable ior the forceful play of the winners. Following "are the results;— CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS. GILLWNS WINS HANDICAP SINGLES The Dunedin Union’s Easter tournament was brought to a successful conclusion. On Saturday, in perfect weather, the men’s and women’s handicap singles were completed. The winner of the men’s section, L. Gillions, from owe 40, had some exceptionally hard matches. In tlhe women’s section the final was played between Miss Smellio and Miss M.
