AXIS ARMISTICE COMMISSION
REPORTED AT MARTINIQUE NEW YORK, April 15. The ‘ Daily News ’ says that, accordting to a French cognac manufacturer, M. Fernand Dechamhre, the German and Italian Armistice Commission, comprising 60 technicians, arrived at "Martinique, thus raising the question whether French sovereignty was usurped and the terms of the Havana Treaty violated. Authoritative quarters in Washington said they knew of no basis for the story.
