MR MILNER AND DR SUTCH

EXPRESSION OF REGRET Tlio United Press Association supplied to various newspapers in New Zealand a report of an address given by Mr Frank Milner, at Oamaru, on March 11. It has been represented to the Press Association that its report was capable of the interpretation that, in the course of his address, Mr Milner had made charges against Dr W, B. Sntcli, and, in particular, had reflected on his loyalty to Great Britain. Tho Press Association believed at the time that the report was a fair and accurate account of the address. The association, however, in no way endorses the views expressed at the meeting. It had no intention of reflecting on the loyalty of Dr Sutch, and expresses regret that its report should have conveyed that impression.
