ELECTION OF OFFICERS ■ [Per United Press Association.] ROTORUA, February 21. At the annual meeting of shareholders of the United Press Association Sir Henry Horton and Sir Cecil Leys retired'from the hoard of directors by rotation and were re-elected unopposed. Mr S. H. Palmer Jones, representing the provincial evening newspapers, and Mr A. J. Allport, representing the provincial morning papers, also retired by rotation and did not offer themselves for re-election. Messrs W. A. Whitlock and D. F. C. Saxton were elected unopposed in their stead. At a subsequent meeting of the board of directors Mr C. W r . Earle, C.M.G., was elected chairman.
