BEACHES GOOD
ST. HILDA IN BEST STATE OF SEASON WATER TEMPERATURES RECEDING The St. Kilda Beach is at present ia the best condition it has been all this season, and a good even surfing area is available between the flags. There is a slight dip to the north of tho flags, but otherwise the beach is flat. Similar conditions hold good at St, Clair, and all along the beach is a moderate surf. Tomahawk is also in first-class condition, and very good bathing is available between tho flags. The temperature of tho water is now a degree or two lower than a few weeks ago, but that is only to bo expected.
