SAWYERS BAY PATRIOTIC EFFORT
The collections in hand for the Sawyers Bay District Patriotic Fund have reached approximately £2OO. Monthly collections from : house to house will now be discontinued for th* holiday period, and will be. recommenced in February. - Assistance has been given by concert parties from. Dunedin. The Coulter-Bogg instrumental party has given an excellent programme for patriotic funds. For the farewell fund for men on active service Mr Wilson Brown’s Victory Pierrot Company gave a high-class performance which was well received.
