TOWN HALL DANCE
On Saturday night the 1910 Otago junior ballroom dancing championship will he held at the Town Hall dance. Among those who have entered are Miss Phyllis White and Mr Dave Hcwilt, winners of this year’s novice competition, and Mr Albert M'Crachen and partner. Mr M'Cracken won the novice competition of^ Otago and Southland last year. The competition will be judged by public vote. Two halls and two bands will again be used. Nat Delaney's Radio Rhythmics,--Jimmie M'Farlanc, and Arthur Waller will supply the music in the Main Town Hall for the modern dancing, and Wright's Rhythm Baud featuring a singing guitar for the old-time dancing. Mr “ Spud ” Murphy will bo tbo M.C. Dancers can go from one ball to the other. The final of the maypole competition will be held on Saturday, December 7, for which seats can be reserved at Begg’s.
