CARNIVAL ART UNIONS
DRAWING SET DDWN FDR SATURDAY HOUSE MAY BE POSTPONED Investors in the many art unions conducted in conjunction with the recent Queen Carnival campaign are awaiting Saturday with considerable interest. For that is the day which has boon set aside for the drawing of all the art unions.' Arrangements are well in hand lor the drawing of the Army, Navy, and Air Force art unions, and the results will be known after 2.30 on Saturday afternoon, at which hour the drawing commences in the Garrison Hall. In the meantime the position regarding the drawing of the house art union is indeterminate, but it is hoped that this also will bo drawn on Saturday as previously intended. The hitch is that there are still a number of books of tickets not to hand, but every endeavour is being made to collect "those before Saturday. If they come to hand in time the house will be drawn along with the other art unions, but if they do not the drawing of the house will be postponed a week.
