DUNEDIN GUN CLUB
A shoot was held on the Dunedin Gun Club’s grounds at Green Island on Saturday afternoon under good weather conditions. In the first match, a 15-bird handicap, shot on the fivetrack system, no possibles were registered, but R. M'Donald (19yds), D. Ralston (12yds), Dr Greenslade (12yds), and D. Davy (12yds) ail broke 14. M'Donakl, Ralston, and Davy broke all their birds with the first barrel. The next best scores were as follows:—T. Woodford (12yds), J. Paterson (12yds), W. Mori and (14yds), J. Steven (15yds), It; Maxwell (13yds), and R. Bruce (13yds) all broke 13; P. E. Wood (14yds) broke 12, and G. E. Turner (17yds), E. P.-Graham 09yds), J. K. Begg (12yds), and J. B. Craigie (12yds) 11. The handicap sheet match resulted as follows:—T. Woodford 76—20—96, J. Steven 92—0 —92. R. M'Donald 76—8—84, G. E. Turner 80—3—S3. Four points were allotted for every break. Mr W. R. Morland was the referee.
