LEE-BARNARD DEFECTION
SHOULD RESIGN [Per Ukited Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 26. The Khandallah branch of the New Zealand Labour Party passed a resolution on April 24 expressing confidence in the Government as at present constituted and in Mr Fraser/ as Prime Minister, and deplored the disservice to party and Government occasioned ■ by the action of Mr Lee and Mr Barnard, with an expression of opinion that they should resign their seats and stand against official Labour candidates.
