CONTROLLER SATISFIED WITH WORK [Per United Press Association.] . AUCKLAND, March 15, After completing the first week in his newly-created post of Controller of the Auckland waterfront, Mr R. E. Price will leave for Wellington on Sunday night to continue discussions concerning Government control of wharf work throughout New' Zealand and to make arrangements for Auckland organisation. Mr Price said he felt that the whole position would be clarified during his visit. He was satisfied with the way in which the - men were working, and everything possible was being done to expedite the handling of the cargoes which had accumulated during the cessation of work in the recent dispute. During the absence in Wellington of Mr Price the external organisation of waterfront control will be supervised by Captain Stahich. of the Marine Department.
