OTAGO TOURNAMENT TO-DAY'S PLAY The sun shone again this morning, and conditions were pleasant for play. Several championship 'games were played off, and provided good croquet, in the second round of the A grade championship doubles a close contest was fought between Mrs Horn and •Mrs Moss against Mesdames Pettigrew and O’Neill, of Oore, although no brilliant play was seen. The Gore pair play a very attractive game, and their stance could be studied to advantage by some of the junior players, in the final the veteran player, Mrs Horn, with her partner from the Montecillo Club, proved just too strong for the Southland pair.
