ANOTHER FREE LOAN [Pee United Press Association.}- - WELLINGTON, February 13. The Minister of Finance, (Hon. W. Nash) stated to-day that a cheque for £SOO bad been deposited to the credit of the public account by Quichgliine Limited, Auckland, as a loan free of interest to the Government for • ’the duration of the war. The Minister, expressing appreciation of the company’s action, said ha hoped that many others would follow the generous example of those . individuals and! business firms who bad already, shown in .this way practical..-evi-dence of their desire' to; assist the Government in its prosecution of the -war.- |
