RETURNED SOLDIERS’ AFFAIRS
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Members of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association executive committee held their monthly meeting last night The president (Mr J. M. White') was in the chair, other members present beincr Messrs W. F. Forrester, A. M'Hutchon, A, Duncan, G. H. Ferens, W. B. Earnshaw, E. Duerdon, J. M‘Knio-ht, W. K. Cameron, S. G. Scoular, A. G. Hill, and W. H. ThomS ° n ’ MEMBERSHIP. Two new nominations for membership were reported, also one transfer inward and one outward, while two deaths were recorded. Figures in the membership campaign now °are: —-Christchurch, 3,242; Dunedin, 2,486. Figures on the financial membership ladder for New Zealand at December 31 were —Auckland, 3,284; Christchurch, 3,209; Wellington, 2,734; - Dunedin, 2.430. South Canterbury headed the minor associations with 586. The total was 26,450 men in ninety associations. FINANCE. Accounts passed for payment totalled £l3 ICs Id.
