BALLROOM DANCING
To take part in the social life of today one has to bo able to dance, and to attain tho art of doing this correctly it is necessary to get tuition from competent teachers. In this respect the Dunedin public are fortunate, as commencing on next Monday, 19th, in Miss Constance Potts’s studio, top floor in Hannah’s building, in George street, Mr J. H. Green, late of Wellington, will be the principal to Brown’s School of Ballroom Dancing. Mr Green has had many, years’ experience in the teaching of ballroom dancing, and before coming to Dunedin was one of the principals in a leading ballroom dancing school in Wellington. He has also fudged competitions and given demonstrations at most of the big dance halls throughout New Zealand. On Monday nights a learners’ class will be held, and on Wednesday nights an advance class. Private lessons can ho arranged by phoning 18-831.
