COLIN HANSON (left), New Zealand amateur 100 mile road cycling champion, who left to-day to join the Railway Construction Company of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force. It is hoped Hanson will be able to compete in the New Zealand track cycling championships at Wellington on Saturday. Hanson’s trainer is Mr C. B. (“Snowy”) M'Queen, well-known athletic and football trainer.
