CYCLING CHAMPION FOR CAMP
Among recent enlistments for the Second New Zealand -Expeditionary Force is that of Colin Hanson, who left to-day to go into camp with the Railway Construction Company. Hanson is the Now Zealand amateur 100 miles road cycling champion, and is also a noted track rider. He was selected to represent Otago in the Now Zealand track cycling championships at Wellington on Friday and Saturday, and it is hoped ho will still be able to obtain leave to take part similar to that which has been granted to one or two well-known athletes recently.
