MUSIC, DAHCIHG, AMD COMEDY Dancing, singing, romance, and coined}' are represented by" the " topnotehors " in their respective fields in the cast of the- new M.G.M. .musical, ' Honolulu,' which is at tho i Mdyfair. Eleanor Powell handles' the dancing end of the lavish new picture, with the other headfiners composed of Robert Youiig and the, inimitable comedy team of Burns and Allen. . Prominent supporting parts are filled by ltita Johnson, Clarence'Kolb, Jo Ann Sayers, Ann Morris, Willie Fung, Cliff Clark, Edward Qafgan, Eddie Anderson, Sigßumatin, lluth Hussoy, „ Kealoha Holt, and Edgar Bearing. Edward Buzzell, former Broadway musical comedy star, was tho director. Jack Cummings, wlio produced 'Born to Dance' and 'Broadway Melody of 1938,' produced the new musical. Miss Powell introduces three new dances—' Hymn to the Sun,' a tap hula based on the traditional Hawaiian dance; an imitation of Bill Robinson's entertaining stair dance, and a tap dance done with a skipping rope. J You Can't Cheat an Honest Man ; ' featuring Edgar Bergen and Charlie 'McCarthy, supports.
