The New South Wales amateur athletic track championships were held yesterday. The local sprinter, Bruce Ryan, won the 100yds State championship in 9 7-lOsee, defeating the Queenslander, W. Burfein, by inches. The 880yds championship was won by the Victorian, G. Backhouse, in Imiu 59sec, and the 220yds hurdles by R. Magee in 24 9-lOsec.
