Service to men in the forces is being steadily developed by the Y.M.C.A.* the. Scottish National, Union of; which has 29 centres at work.' Games hay* been provided for every searchlight and anti-aircraft unit. . „,,_ ■■ South of the Border the Y.M.C.A. has received assurances of co-operation* from the' churches, Too and th* Jewish community, and the latest development of the Work is the provision of a mobile unit to serve the many scattered units throughout the country. The Y.M.C.A. did yeomatt Aenric* during the last ■war, and the nuts at the front and at various training depdt* were centres of attraction to all branches of the services. With tho evacuation of children their mothers the scope of the association s activities has beeii greatly widened, ami a nation-wide aooeal for funds is likely to be made.—* Weekly Scotsman.’
